The second quarter of 2020 was not what anyone expected due to COVID-19. So many variables were in play, and our friends at many local non-profits need our help more than ever. The Byrd Agency chose the Splashpaw Foundation as our Community Cause during this time frame, donating $10 for every quoted referral we received. The Splashpaw Foundation is dedicated to helping families that are having a tough time keeping up with the high costs associated with the treatment and care of their pets and kids battling tough medical conditions. With the help of our fabulous customers, we were able to raise $220 for the Splashpaw Foundation!
Pets bring out the best in people. They are loved and important members of our households. Stats indicate that 44% of people in the United States have a dog, and 35% have a cat as a pet. However, along with the many joys that come with having a pet, comes an enormous responsibility too!
With this campaign, we hope to raise awareness and proceeds for The Splashpaw Foundation. The founders of this nonprofit identified a growing need in our community to help pets and kids who are battling tough medical conditions, most specifically cancer, whose families are having a tough time keeping up with the high costs associated with treatment and care.
We believe wholeheartedly in the work done by The Splashpaw Foundation providing assistance for those in need during those difficult times. As loving pet owners ourselves, we here at the Byrd Agency can attest how truly life-changing loving a pet be and how healing it can be when what you get in return is – UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!
