Deeply rooted in Concord, NC, Jessica graduated from Concord High School and Wingate University with a B.A. in History. She has been the co-owner, along with Jeremy Blackwell, of the Byrd Agency, Inc. since 2009 and is a third-generation Nationwide Agent. Her grandfather was the retired Agent, Arnold Byrd, and her father, also retired, is Jim Blackwell. Jessica lives in Davidson, NC with her husband, daughter, and two dogs – Duke and Bear.

Jeremy is an original Concord native. He is married to his wife, Nicole (Niki), They have two children, a daughter, Ellison and son, Hutson, along with one rescue dog, Sophie. Jeremy has a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Licenses. He holds the following licenses: Property, Casualty, Life, Health, and Medicare Supplement/LTC.
Jeremy is a third-generation agent and has qualified for the following awards: Life University Qualifying Agency, Commercial Select Agent, On Your Side Certified Agency, Making of a Champion Award, and a Presidents Conference Qualifier.
He is a proud member of Rocky River Church and the Cabarrus Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, he loves to travel, hike, fish and explore.

As Public Relations Manager for the Byrd Agency, Shannon brings over 15 years of experience in sales management and is dedicated to providing an extraordinary service experience for clients and community partners alike. She is dedicated to the communities she lives and works in, which is evident by the years of service and volunteer efforts to various organizations in both. Shannon lives in China Grove and is married to her husband Jason; has two children, Chris and Ashleigh; and a fur baby, Daisy May.
